The winding road through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass climbs over 2,260 meters and offers panoramic views of Berber villages, terraced valleys, and snow-capped peaks in winter.
We stop at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou. An ancient fortified village that has appeared in countless films and series. Here, your guide will explain the architectural significance of the ksar, how families historically lived in these earthen homes. And why this site has been preserved for centuries. After breakfast, we depart for Skoura Oasis, a lush area famous for its palm groves and historic kasbahs. You will learn about traditional Moroccan agriculture. How the local communities rely on the oasis for farming, and the history of kasbah construction as both defense and home.
We then drive to Kelaat M’Gouna, in the Valley of Roses, where you can see the rose fields that bloom each spring and visit local cooperatives producing rose water, perfumes, and cosmetics. In the afternoon, we travel along the Dades Valley, a scenic area of dramatic rock formations, rivers, and traditional villages. Your guide will explain the geology of the valley, the local lifestyle, and how these communities have thrived in such dramatic landscapes. Dinner and overnight are in Dades Valley.

Today, we journey to the Todgha Gorge, a spectacular canyon with towering limestone walls. You will have time to walk along the gorge and marvel at the sheer cliffs, while your guide explains the geological history and the role of the river in sustaining local communities.
After exploring, we continue toward Merzouga, passing through small desert towns and landscapes that gradually change from rocky hills to sand dunes. Upon arrival, you will ride a camel across the Erg Chebbi dunes, experiencing the magic of the desert at sunset. The day ends with dinner and overnight in a desert camp, where you can enjoy traditional Berber music under a sky full of stars.
